Tickets Now Available for 2008 Congressional Luncheon

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson is set to headline the Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon in August.

Tickets are now available for the 2008 Georgia Chamber of Commerce Congressional Luncheon. The event will be held in the Miller-Murphy-Howard Building at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter, in Perry, on Thursday, August 28.

Headlining the luncheon will be U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, a former member of the Georgia senate, who also served in the U. S. House of Representatives. During his time in Congress, Isakson has been a strong supporter of small business. Isakson will brief the audience on federal legislation that affects business and local communities. Also on the program, delivering a special introduction, will be U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss.

More than 1,500 business and community leaders are expected to attend this year's luncheon. Georgia Chamber President & CEO George Israel applauded the choice of Perry for this year's luncheon. "Houston County is, of course, the home of Warner Robins AFB and it is fast becoming a major hub of business and industry. It's a dynamic community and we always receive a warm welcome there," he commented.

Individual tickets to the Congressional Luncheon are $45. Tables of eight can be purchased for $360.
